Welcome – Jun Lee to our Professional Driver Recruitment Team

Please join us in welcoming Jun (pronounced JIN) Lee to our professional driver recruitment team.

He will be based out of our Head Office in Edmonton, AB where he will work closely with the Edmonton Terminal Manager, Assistant Terminal Manager, our recruitment team across Canada and our HR Business Partner to recruit Professional Class 1 Drivers to get behind the wheel for KAG Canada. He will report to Deborah Gee, our HR Business Partner.

Jun’s main responsibility will be to connect with Professional Drivers, attend our out-of-office recruitment events like truck shows and assist with our recruitment open houses. While working closely with the terminal, he will ensure our Professional Class 1 Drivers are aware of the benefits as well as employee discounts and make a connection with them so they trust him to be a resource to use throughout their career as Professional Drivers here.

Within his first month at KAG, he went for a full day ride-along to show him exactly what a ‘day in the life’ of Professional Class 1 Driver is like. He had the opportunity to witness three loads and get a taste for what it’s like to be out on the road.

He graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation, Sport and Tourism and has a deep-rooted passion for human resources as well as recruiting individuals for careers they can be proud of. Prior to joining KAG Canada, he worked as a Professional Truck Driver Recruiter for another company in the transportation industry.
