Fleet Services Promotion and New Team Member

In Fleet Services, we are fortunate to have a team of talented individuals across Canada. To add to our great team, we are pleased to announce Jared Cole, our Fleet Manager-East, has been able to internally promote one of our Heavy Equipment Technicians and welcome a new team member who will both take on the position of Shop Manager at their respective locations in Brandon, MB and Sarnia, ON.

We are excited to announce the well-deserved promotion of Dustin Homenuik who has been promoted from Heavy Equipment Technician to Shop Manager and will lead our team in Brandon, Manitoba. Dustin holds over 20 years of experience in his field and is a certified Journeymen Red Seal Truck Transport Technician. To add to his boots-on-the-ground experience – in addition to previously working for MACK Manitoba – he was temporarily relocated to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories for our 2024 Winter Road season to work as a valuable asset in ensuring our fleet remained in top condition despite the bitter cold temperatures (-40 °C).

James Salisbury is new to KAG Canada and joins our team to lead the shop in Sarnia, Ontario. He comes to us with over 11 years of experience in the transportation industry holding positions of head dispatcher, mechanic and shop manager in addition to being a certified 310T Truck and Coach Technician (Red Seal). His leadership and diverse industry experience in various departments will be beneficial to his success at KAG.

KAG Canada Shop Managers are responsible for maintaining the workflow of their respective shops and ensuring the quality of work is held up to KAG Canada’s high operating standards – and we know both Dustin and James will do an excellent job.
