Human Resources Promotions: Donna Rogers, Kelsey Stewart & Ali Dietrich
October 21, 2022
At KAG Canada, we are always aiming to improve the overall structure of our teams and thus our ability to support and add the most value to those we serve while also providing professional growth opportunities for our employees.
I am pleased to announce three well-deserved promotions within our KAG Canada Human Resources team effective immediately. Donna Rogers has been promoted to Human Resources Business Partner while both Kelsey Stewart and Ali Dietrich have both been promoted to the position of Sr. Recruiter.
Donna Rogers has been focused on our retention initiatives for some time now and this position change formalizes her lead of those initiatives including our employee check-ins and exit interviews. A focus on retention is required by all of us to be successful, however, Donna will keep this at the forefront of what we do. She remains our HR boots on the ground in the Ontario Region and will continue to support the team there whether with recruitment, retention, employee relations, or general leader support. Donna originally joined our team in the Edmonton terminal in October of 2000 where she worked in driver support. She then relocated to Calgary where she performed roles in office admin, and recruitment before relocating back to to Edmonton where she worked as a Site Map Clerk, Benefit Administrator, Recruiter, and HR Advisor. Most recently, she moved to Ontario where she has held the role of Sr. HR Advisor. Donna says the reason she is most excited about her new role is, “This is an opportunity to focus on and contribute to helping us achieve our goal of increasing retention and reducing turnover in both driver and non-driver roles within KAG Canada.”
The Senior Recruiter role recognizes existing Recruiters who possess tenured and significant experience and knowledge in our company and on our team. The Sr. Recruiters report directly to Deborah Gee, HR Business Partner, and continue to focus heavily on Driver Recruitment while also supporting Deborah and the recruitment team through Recruiter training as well as day-to-day mentorship. Sr. Recruiters also work on a variety of projects that support the overall team and function of talent acquisition at KAG Canada.
Kelsey Stewart joined our Saskatoon Terminal in 2013 and has worked in various positions within our company making her an asset to our Human Resources team when she formally joined in the role of Recruiter in 2021. From 2013 to 2021, Kelsey held the role of Driver Liaison/DSR, Administrative Assistant in Saskatoon, and a company-wide Sales Coordinator role. Kelsey is looking forward to the opportunity to continue mentoring the recruitment team and to learn more about the roles within Human Resources.
Ali Dietrich works out of our Lloydminster Terminal and has been working for KAG Canada since 2017. She has held the positions of Safety Administrator, Staffing Liaison, and most recently, Recruiter. Ali said what she is looking forward to most about her new role is being more hands-on with the administrative side of talent like handling DocuSign, seeking out and managing the available job grants in the market, and so much more.
Please join me in congratulating these three talented employees in their new leadership roles with the company.
