Operations Promotion – Corporate Safety Manager, Eastern Canada
January 16, 2026
Please join us in congratulating Roger Larocque on his exciting new role as Corporate Safety Manager for Eastern Canada at KAG Canada.
Roger brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to safety to this position. In his most recent role as Winnipeg Terminal Manager, Roger demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational expertise. Prior to being in operations, Roger was an integral member of the Safety team at our Winnipeg Terminal, where his contributions helped strengthen our safety culture. Earlier in his career, he also worked as a Class 1 Professional Truck Driver, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges and realities of our industry.
As part of our continued investment in safety and frontline support, KAG Canada is implementing a two–Corporate Safety Manager structure — one dedicated to Eastern Canada and one to Western Canada. This enhanced structure allows us to better support our people, increase regional focus, and strengthen the consistency and responsiveness of our safety programs nationwide.
Additionally, with this change, the Winnipeg and Thunder Bay Safety Advisors will now report directly to the Corporate Safety Manager, Eastern Canada.
Roger’s decision to return to the safety field speaks volumes about his commitment to creating safer workplaces and building a culture of both care and accountability. In his new role, he’ll oversee safety operations across Eastern Canada—from Manitoba to Newfoundland—working closely with operational leaders to reinforce best practices, implement robust safety programs, and ensure our teams have the tools and knowledge they need to stay safe every day.
We are thrilled to have Roger leading this critical area of our business and look forward to the positive impact he will continue to make. Please join us in congratulating Roger and supporting him as he embarks on this new opportunity!
