Shell Canada’s Driver of the Year: Sean Penney from Yellowknife, NT

We are excited to announce Sean Penney, from our terminal in Yellowknife, NT, has earned the heroic title of Shell Canada’s Driver of the Year!

Sean joined our team in 2015 as a fuel driver. After spending three years hauling primarily diesel he was selected to train as an aviation driver in 2018 as there was an increase in the need for jet fuel drivers to haul to the airport in Yellowknife.

In 4.5 years, Sean has moved 325 loads totaling 847,110 km (526,370 mi) of incident free driving, which is in line with KAG Canada’s Mission of being ‘One Team Driven to Make a Difference’ and in line with Shell’s stringent safety culture.
