Welcome our Continuous Improvement Manager, David Hudson

April 14, 2023

As we strive to be the employer of choice for all employees who call KAG Canada home, it is exciting to welcome talented individuals to our growing organization. We are pleased to share David Hudson has joined our team as the Continuous Improvement Manager. He will be based in Edmonton and report directly to Tyler Cochrane, our Senior Vice President (SVP) of Information.

David will be responsible to seek out solutions for process improvement, to analyze, optimize, maintain, and improve our current processes and to develop new processes where none exist today. He will be initiating and facilitating lean improvement programs and activities using his vast knowledge in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools while working with all our subject matter experts (SME) at KAG.

David comes to us with a BEng (honours) in Mechanical Engineering with Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Bradford in England and is an active member of a Manufacturing Management group at Cranfield University in London, England. His work experience is diverse, he has worked on a project in Hungary, the Manufacturing space with Airbus in England as well as Oil & Gas here in Canada with Chevron. Even though those organizations might be at different maturities in terms of the application of Lean and Six Sigma, the common thread was focused on what needs to happen to improve best practices and structure. He is coming to our company with a fresh set of eyes as he has not experienced the transportation industry before.

“I’m looking forward to meeting more of the great people who work for KAG Canada and understanding more about how the business operates so I can streamline processes to increase efficiency.” – David Hudson
