Finance Department Promotions

July 16, 2024

We are excited to make everyone at KAG Canada aware of recent growth opportunities for a few of our colleagues that work out of our Head Office in Edmonton.

Revenue Manager

Our current Accounts Receivable Team Lead, Junis Hornada, has expanded his portfolio to include the Revenue Team.  Junis’ new role will encompass both the invoicing and the collections side of our business.  Junis joined the company in May 2023 and has done a great job of learning our business at an accelerated pace, while working with both internal and external customers.  His leadership experience has proven to be invaluable to our team, and we are looking forward to seeing him take on these new responsibilities.

Corporate Controller

Tyler Pennington’s Controllership has been expanded to support more working groups within the Finance Team with the addition of the revenue side of our business.  He is approaching his two-year anniversary with the company and has gradually become involved in almost every aspect of our back-office administration.  Tyler has a positive, can-do attitude, and he inspires the team to take the same approach while challenging them to elevate their abilities and grow their own careers.  He really focuses his time and energy on supporting people, and we know that he will continue to develop our ability to collaborate as a group and work cross-functionally to develop best practices.

Divisional Controller, Finance

Mackenzie Letourneau joined KAG Canada in February 2022 as a Senior Financial Analyst following her articling experience in public accounting, where she obtained her CPA designation.  Mackenzie has gravitated towards the financial reporting and taxation functions of the business and works closely with our team across Canada.  Since Mackenzie joined the company, she’s brought fresh ideas on refining processes and guides the team through both the day-to-day and the recurring structure and application of Finance at KAG Canada.  We are happy that we can count on Mackenzie to bring optimism to any problem she encounters and enjoy her ability to see the bright side of things.

Divisional Controller, Fleet

Ariana Rocic, who also completed her CPA while articling in Public Accounting, joined the company in January 2022 as a Senior Financial Analyst.  Since joining, Ariana has taken an interest in the financial side of Fleet Services and will look after areas such as accounting and analyses of expenses related to equipment purchases, repairs and maintenance expenses, and asset depreciation and disposals.  Ariana has proven that she does not shy away from challenging tasks, and while taking on something new, develops tools and finds new ways to improve workflow. She has worked very closely with Fleet Leadership, and they are excited to have her efforts focused on Fleet on a more permanent basis.

We believe it is very important to maintain a consistent and dedicated goal of having growth opportunities available to our team members as they progress through their careers at KAG Canada.  This breaking news story is one of many examples of our shared success throughout the years.

Please join us in saying congratulations to everyone!
