Leadership Update – Safety Department

We are pleased to announce Ian Isherwood has been promoted to Director of Safety.

Ian returned to KAG Canada at the beginning of 2023 after having worked with our team as a HSE Analyst from 2014 through 2017. Before Ian rejoined KAG Canada, he gained valuable knowledge and further experience working with an international logistics provider.

Going forward, Ian will lead the day-to-day activities of the Safety team at KAG Canada, with our Safety Leadership team members reporting directly to him. Ian and Dan Columbus, VP, Health, Safety and Environment and Northwest Territories Operations, will continue to work closely on important projects, policy, and programs.

We are excited to see Ian further grow and develop as an emerging leader at KAG Canada. Over the past year, Ian has fostered many positive relationships with internal team members, as well as third party regulators and our customers.

Analytics and systems are areas where Ian is highly skilled, and Ian will work with our team to cultivate an environment where we lead with behaviour-based safety programs, and actively care about each other.
